VOLUNTEER INTEREST AND TALENT SURVEY

Brownie Troop 169

Girl Scouting is at its best when parents and other adults are active in the management and activities of the troop. Whether you serve in a leadership role or help occasionally, your support can make a difference in the lives of girls.
Prospective volunteers may be asked to complete a volunteer application and consent form for our records. To ensure a safe environment for our members, criminal background checks are run on volunteers who will be working directly with the girls or troop or service unit funds. Once you become a volunteer, the council will provide an orientation to Girl Scouting and any training required for a specific position. We encourage you to become an ongoing volunteer in Girl Scouting.

This survey will help you determine ways you can enjoy giving assistance to the troop.

I am willing to:

Serve on the troop leadership team with other adults. (Attend training, help girls plan activities and attend

troop meetings.)

I would be interested in the position of:

Leader (if you want to start a Daisy or Junior age group addition to our troop)

distribute sales materials, handle product, finances and sale records).
